Chauffeur,
reinvented.

GMH Chauffeur Services runs executive and airport transfers across Manchester and the UK. I designed and built the software that runs the business, from the first tap in the customer app to the invoice at month end. It's built to go beyond off-the-shelf systems like CDS.

01 · The challenge

Off-the-shelf didn't fit.

Most chauffeur companies run on generic dispatch software. You pay a licence per vehicle, get feature sets someone else decided on, and still need a separate booking website, a separate app and a lot of manual invoicing.

GMH wanted one connected system built around how they actually work: airport runs, corporate accounts, partner operators, zone-based pricing and a premium brand customers can see on their phone.

02 · What I built

Four products.
One source of truth.

01

GMH Rides app

Airport transfers with flight tracking, city-to-city and hourly hire, multi-stop routes, fixed upfront prices, card payments and live chat.

02

GMH Chauffeur app

Instant bookings and bidding, one-tap navigation, passenger chat, documents and real-time earnings.

03

Dispatch dashboard

A live fleet map, auto-dispatch, bookings, drivers and customers, all run from dashboard.gmhire.co.uk.

04

Zones & pricing

Pricing zones mapped across the region, with rates set by zone and vehicle class.

05

Payments & invoicing

Card payments, automated invoices, corporate billing and driver payouts, with no spreadsheets at month end.

06

Corporate & partner portals

Business accounts book and manage travel from one login. Partners get a portal of their own.

Mobile

Two apps.
Both sides of
every trip.

Customers get a premium booking experience. Drivers get a focused tool for the job they're on. Both update in real time, so dispatch always knows where every car and passenger is.

04 · Growth

The website,
the ads &
the socials.

Software is only half of it. I built gmhire.co.uk and ran its SEO, plus Google, Meta and Bing Ads. I also handle daily social media: posts, replies to customers and short reels. The same playbook runs for Northwest Chauffeur Specialist.
