Winning
Harlem.
In 2021, first-time candidate Kristin Richardson Jordan ran for New York City Council in District 9, Central Harlem, against a veteran incumbent, and won. I built her campaign website and ran its SEO page by page. I also fixed her Google Business Profile, so voters searching for her found her first.

A first-time candidate beat the veteran incumbent in the 2021 Democratic primary, then took office on 1 January 2022.
Top of Google for her campaign searches, with every page targeting its own keywords.
Her winning margin after the recount. Every vote, and every search, counted.
Her profile repaired and optimised so she showed up across search and Maps.
She was so happy with the result that she tipped a $5,000 bonus.
Council Member for District 9 from 2022 to 2023. The same site carried her from campaign to the Councilwoman's office.
01 · The campaign site
Built to organise a movement.
A grassroots campaign needs a site that does three jobs: explain the candidate, recruit volunteers and raise money. I built KRJ's site around her campaign messaging, with volunteer sign-ups, donations, events, issues, press and public statements, plus clear voting information for District 9.
After the win, the same site became the Councilwoman's hub, with constituent services, office hours, events and task forces, and "Radical Love" news sign-ups.

02 · Search & Google Business
First result for Harlem.
I ran full SEO across the site: each page was built around its own keywords, so searches for the candidate, her issues and District 9 all led to the right page. That work put her at the top of the organic results.
I also fixed her Google Business Profile. That was one of the biggest wins, because it made her known locally and helped her reach #1 in organic search right when voters were looking.
